I can respect the position.

"We engage... to seek God's help in abstaining from all drugs, food, drink and practices which harm the body or jeopardize our own or another's faith."

Interesting wording though. Does fast food fit into that covenant? Cigarettes?

i would say that cigarettes do because well with that its more of an addiction thing... you rarely have someone who smokes cigarettes that is not addicted. and as far as fast food i can see the point you are making cuz it definitely isnt good for the body. but also they do not really harm the body much more than any other food unless it is abused. where as something like alcohol as piper mentions is a mind altering substance.. the littlest bit could have immediate harm on your mind and body
