Hospitals are depressing

Today I visited a man in the hospital. His condition is far from good. It is really quite sad, but I will be praying for improvement. What is really amazing about this man is his appreciation for God, and everything God has done for him. He is a Quadriplegic and has been for a long portion of his life. Which makes his recent sickness a much harder condition to work around. His only way of communication is to talk, and he loves to talk. But due to his condition and being on a respirator, he cannot talk and therefore can only communicate with his eyes, and that is only when he is awake and aware enough to, which is not that often. The amazing thing about this man is his attitude. Right before going into the hospital for his original surgery which has got him where he is, he made an amazing comment and testament of his love for the Lord. Upon knowing he would be having a surgery, someone said to this man "God bless you," and his simple and powerful response was, "He already has." I'm pretty sure I have nothing in my life to complain about at all.
